The nonprofit organization presents evidence of strategic thinking and goal setting through sharing their most important strategic goals.
Goal One: Cervical Cancer:
Increase and expand equitable access to community-based services: awareness, education, screening, and treatment and referrals for higher-level care. Implement tools and strategies (educational materials, mobile data collection systems, databases) to improve service coordination across Haiti. Develop a sustainable, replicable model.
Goal Two: Reduce maternal and infant mortality while promoting access to respectful, evidence-based midwifery care, gender equity, sexual and reproductive justice, body autonomy, gender-based violence, and climate change awareness. This will be achieved through ongoing education, conferences, and webinars for midwives, student midwives, healthcare providers, and public awareness and educational campaigns.
Goal Three: Gender-Based Violence (GBV):
Work to reduce the incidence of GBV through awareness campaigns, prevention initiatives and advocacy.
Increase access to care by building partnerships across Haiti and the diaspora.
Provide education and training for midwives, student midwives, healthcare providers, and local community leaders.
