Goals

1. 1.Veterinarians International’s work is focused on education, training and empowerment of vets and communities on a local level. We empower veterinarians by providing equipment, scholarships for advanced degrees, workshops and conferences, as well as hands-on training opportunities. Qualified vets help ensure optimal outcomes for animals and people.
2. 2.Veterinarians International has launched an initiative to support two extraordinary conservation champions in the Greater Kruger area: Down to the Wire and Dr. Rita Piso of Mangata Vets. Our goals are to provide critical resources to enhance their impact and build upon the trusted partnerships they have built with the local communities.
3. 3.Increase veterinary capacity in Kenya through VI's Vet Training Program. Kenya needs more skilled veterinarians and wildlife advocates. Currently, there are only 14 wildlife veterinarians at the Kenya Wildlife Service supporting the entire country which is one of the most biodiverse countries in Africa, with over 25,000 animal species recorded
