Wichita Animal Action League (WAAL) is a proactive organization committed to rescuing animals in crisis within the Sedgwick County, Kansas area. As advocates for abused, neglected, and abandoned animals, we extend our reach beyond mere rescue efforts. Our mission encompasses: Facilitating the fostering and adoption of at-risk animals Proactively addressing animal overpopulation challenges. Educating and supporting the community in responsible pet ownership practices. Prioritizing initiatives that keep animals with their families, thereby reducing the influx into shelters and rescues. Additionally, WAAL provides essential veterinary care to ensure the well-being of these animals. By aligning our efforts with these core objectives, WAAL strives to prevent and alleviate crises for animals, their owners, and the broader community.
