Mission

The COPA Safety Foundation raises funds through charitable contributions and uses those funds to enable the COPA Training Foundation, LLC to operate programs that develop and disseminate education and training activities that support the safer operation of general aviation aircraft.

Vision

The COPA Safety and Education Foundation would like to become the preeminent sponsor of continuing education for general aviation pilots.

Goals

1.To expand our training offerings to 600 pilots at live events and at least 1000 pilots with internet based programs based on our continuing research of top causes of general aviation accidents.
2.We supplemented our standard weekend program with additional one day events and are developing online courses for those who cannot afford the time or cost to attend our live classes.
3.We are investing in further online course development utilizing a learning management system to extend our outreach to more general aviation pilots.
