Street Company’s mission is to create jobs for homeless people through our social enterprises and provide them with resources and services to help them become self-reliant and healthy.

Vision

We envision that LA County will shift from managing homelessness to transforming lives. Unhoused individuals will begin with housing, but thrive through meaningful employment that reveals their potential and fosters lasting stability. Employment is not just a next step—it’s essential to both economic and social success.

Goals

1.We plan to continue to grow and scale our coffee-roasting social enterprise to extend our Transitional Employment Program to more unhoused individuals. This enterprise offers participants not just income, but also a structured, supportive environment that fosters skill development, self-reliance, and community reintegration—essential elements for creating sustainable change.
2.We are now launching a second social enterprise: CASTERS FARM by summer 2026, which will increase access to nutritious food, reduce food insecurity and improve health outcomes for unhoused adults and low-income families.
