Mission

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midlands creates and supports one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. We match kids in the Omaha, Council Bluffs and Lincoln metro areas with caring adult mentors. Big Brothers Big Sisters operates under the belief that every child has the ability to succeed and thrive in life. As the nation's largest donor and volunteer-supported mentoring network, Big Brothers Big Sisters makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers ("Bigs") and children ("Littles"), ages 7 through 21. We develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people.
