Shadow of His Wings

Mission

SHADOW OF HIS WINGS IS A MINISTRY, RAISED UP BY GOD, CALLED TO "CHANGE THE WORLD ONE WOMAN AT A TIME FOR JESUS CHRIST". THERE IS A SENSE OF URGENCY TO HELP WOMEN UNDERSTAND THEIR NEED OF KNOWING GOD WITH ALL THEIR HEART, MIND AND SOUL AS COMMANDED US IN DEUTERONOMY 6:4-9. AS SOHW STEPPED FOOT INTO KENYA AFRICA, THE CALLING OF THE MINISTRY SHIFTED AND THE NEED TO SPREAD THE WORD TO ALL NATIONS BECAME AN URGENT CALLING TO OUR HEARTS. WE WITNESSED BOTH THE NEED FOR PHYSICAL FOOD AND WATER, AND THE DEEP DESIRE FOR SPIRITUAL FOOD.

Vision

Sustain them in the physical and prepare them for the eternal. “You can hand them a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, offer a jacket, and pour a cup of water - but if you never share the name of Jesus, you’ve met the need and missed the soul.” –Sheridy Walker, Founder & President

Goals

1.By equipping children and widows with education and career skills, we are empowering them to break free of this cycle and build a brighter future. Education provides purpose and direction, giving Awasi children tangible hope for the future. We partner with local leaders to foster a supportive community that creates lasting change.
