Mission

Be a Part of the Conversation equips families and communities in Pennsylvania with skills and resources to understand substance use, addiction, and related health issues. We provide community programs, foster supportive connections, highlight lived experiences, and challenge stigma.

Vision

A community without stigma or misinformation around substance use and addiction.

Goals

1.Increase engagement with underserved communities through targeted fundraising campaigns so that programs can be delivered at no charge or greatly reduced fees for selected strategic partners.
2.Package virtual and in-person program delivery to reduce cost. These changes helped us to identify the potential of offering virtual programs beyond the scope of the pandemic.
3.Position BPOC as “Thought Leaders” on substance use and addiction throughout the southeastern Pennsylvania region.
