    Caring Hearts for Canines

    Mission

CARING HEARTS FOR CANINES MISSION STATEMENT Caring Hearts for Canines (CHFC) rescues and rehomes unwanted dogs in the counties of Moore, Hoke and Cumberland in North Carolina. CHFC rescues as many dogs as possible, including seniors, pregnant mothers and those with special needs, to the best of our ability with the volunteer and financial resources available. To achieve our mission rescuing and rehoming dogs, we are committed to the following: • CHFC both houses dogs in our facility and place dogs locally with adoptive families, based on the best interest of the dogs. • CHFC provides all dogs with immediate and necessary veterinary care, including spay/neuter services prior to adoption or transport. • CHFC educates the community about the responsibilities and costs of providing a lifelong home to rescued dogs, as well as the local responsibility to reduce dog overpopulation by promoting spaying and neutering. • CHFC partners with other east coast adoption organizations to alleviate the constantly full local shelters in a timely manner. These partnerships allow transport to facilities in other areas where there is a higher demand for rescued dogs.
