THE EAST ASIAN OBSERVATORY (EAO) MISSION IS TO CONSTRUCT, OWN, OPERATE MAINTAIN AND IMPROVE ASTRONOMICAL FACILITIES FOR THE EAST ASIAN REGIONS, AND TO ENGAGE IN ALL OTHER ACTIONS THAT ARE NECESSARY CONDUCIVE AND CONVENIENT TO THE ATTAINMENT OF THE FOREGOING PURPOSES.
