All leadership positions are volunteers. Each are required to attend the adaptive sports events CWVC holds. Not only are they the decision makers, but the people doing all the leg and grunt work. All the leadership is comprised of former military leaders, with the president having been a 2 star USAF general. The professional development for each, comes in the form of actual participation and taking care of the veterans we serve.

    Adaptability Practices
    30 out of 30 points
The nonprofit has an opportunity to tell the story of how the organization adapted to tremendous external changes in the last year
CWVC had to adapt to the ever changing environment of fundraising caused by COVID and the pull out of Afghanistan. As the war came to a close, it drops out of the limelight, and so does the injured veteran population, but they still and will always need the extra support the DoD and VA cannot give them. This caused us to change how we raise funds. We now do more face to face with corporate leaders as well as local area group meeting presentations.
