Mission
To honor, revive, and grow military and first responder families through outdoor recreation, education, and rehabilitation.
Vision
Develop deep relationships between warriors, outdoorsmen, and Jesus Christ. Raise compassionate public leaders who are strong in character and conservation minded. Diversify outdoor activities by including women, youth, and minorities. Provide warriors with purpose, meaning, and reason for their lives and injuries. Promote healing for wounded servicemembers and first responder personnel through outdoor ministry. Enrich the lives of children by introducing them to hunting, fishing, farming, and survival. Offer adolescents a Wilderness Survival Rite of Passage to build resilience and self-confidence. Demonstrate love, grace, mercy, and forgiveness to others and self. Our aspiration is to foster healing, leadership, inclusion, and personal growth through faith and outdoor adventure. The organization aims to empower service members, first responders, and their families, as well as youth and vulnerable populations, through transformative outdoor experiences and Christian fellowship.
Goals
- 1.10 CAN, Inc. is actively focused on growing and expanding programs to serve a wider range of individuals in need via coalition building, collaborative partnerships, launching new chapters, enhancing and diversifying programs, PTSD & Suicide Prevention, combatting societal challenges, and expanding outreach.
- 2.10 CAN, Inc. aims to strengthen organizational capacity by centralizing and streamlining partnerships with service organizations. This approach expands resources, improves accessibility, and enhances program delivery, enabling the organization to better support warriors, families, and underserved communities.
- 3.10 CAN, Inc. advocates for its cause by raising awareness about mental health challenges among military families, first responders, women, and youth, promoting holistic healing through outdoor ministry, and engaging communities to combat issues like PTSD and suicide with compassion, adventure, and faith-driven action.
