Vision

Our short-term vision is to grow our capacity in order to meet the rising demand for more rehabilitative care for wildlife in our area. To do this, we aim to build new sections for our facility such as a medical wing, create new positions and hire more staff members, engage in more community outreach and education, get additional volunteer and intern participation, and strengthen our leadership practices. Our long-term vision is to become a full-service wildlife rehabilitation, medical, and research facility providing resources, education, career opportunities, research, data, and conservation events to the community while upholding the highest standard of care for our wild patients.

Goals

1. 1.We focus our resources on high-impact wildlife rehabilitation and conservation programs that best serve wild animals and the community while thoughtfully scaling back activities that fall outside our core mission goals. We provide high quality lifesaving care to orphaned and injured wildlife while promoting stewardship in our community.
2. 2.By strengthening infrastructure, partnerships, and outreach efforts, we increase access to wildlife rehabilitation and conservation education while serving a growing number of wild animals and community members each year. Focusing on best practices and organizational efficiency, we expand in a purposeful and sustainable manner so the community can have this resource for years to come.
3. 3.We are committed to strengthening advocacy efforts that increase awareness of wildlife conservation challenges, promote coexistence with native species, and inspire greater community involvement in protecting wildlife and the environment.
