Vision

The INN Between envisions a community where: • no human suffers or dies alone on the streets, • every human has safe housing that allows for access to hospice care at the end of life, recovery from illness or injury, or lifesaving medical treatment, • we help one another to overcome adversity, with special emphasis on helping those who are unable to help themselves, • we demonstrate tolerance and/or acceptance toward people with diverse backgrounds, • people who are homeless are not discriminated against simply because they lack a stable residence, • people of any income level can obtain housing that fits their budget.

Goals

1. 1.To end the tragedy of vulnerable people dying on the streets of our community, by providing medical respite and end-of-life care for people experiencing homelessness.
2. 2.Provide 14,000 days annually of medical housing to 120 homeless individuals experiencing a medical crisis to gain access to critical medical services not accessible in shelters/streets.
3. 3.Serve 48 terminally ill clients (100% of terminally ill clients) annually who will be safely housed through the end of life, ending their homelessness. They will receive 24/7 caregiver support.
