Vision

Our vision at Henry’s Home is to be a beacon of hope and transformation for our heroes, creating a sanctuary where Veterans and Retired First Responders find solace, empowerment, and renewed purpose. Through the power of equine engagement and Natural Horsemanship, we aspire to build a community where every individual can thrive, heal, and flourish in harmony with these majestic animals.

Goals

1. 1.Through our Equine-Assisted Learning Programs, we aim to reach and support 1,000 Veterans and Retired First Responders, offering them an alternative mode of therapy rooted in connection, mindfulness, and self-discovery.
2. 2.We are committed to offering a safe, nurturing home to our 26 rescued horses, allowing them to thrive & serve in their second careers as companions & partners in healing. These horses are vital to our mission and play an integral role in the therapeutic process. We will continue to work with our horses to be a part of our programs unless we find that the match to our programs is no longer viable.
3. 3.We will collect and analyze data during and after program participation to ensure accountability and continuous improvement. This data will help us evaluate the effectiveness of our programs, increase our fundraising, measure progress in participants’ emotional and psychological well-being, and refine our approach to meet the evolving needs of our heroes.
