Mission

Safe Families for Children seeks to keep children safe and families together by mobilizing local community members to “love their neighbor” and build family-like relationships with one another. SFFC is rooted in faith, fueled by radical hospitality, disruptive generosity, and intentional compassion.

Vision

The primary objectives of SFFC are threefold: preventing child abuse by offering secure, temporary homes for children from families in crisis while parents work towards restoring stability in their lives; supporting and stabilizing families in crisis through mentoring and referrals to relevant resources; and diverting children from entering the child welfare system by maintaining the integrity of healthy families and reuniting children with their parents.
