Vision

Rooted exists to transform NextGen ministry so that every student receives grace-filled, gospel-centered, and Bible-saturated discipleship in the church and at home.

Goals

1. 1.To have 34,750 highly-engaged churches by 2030, which constitutes 25% of churches with a NextGen ministry of some sort. The laws of diffusion of innovation suggests that in the religious space, 25% adoption of a new practice represents a tipping point. Therefore, we believe that reaching 34,750 churches would surpass the tipping point and evidence a shift toward gospel-centered NextGen ministry.
2. 2.Continue to produce and increase access to high-quality, grace-filled, gospel-centered, and Bible-saturated NextGen resources. This includes our blogs, podcasts, YouTube videos, books, and curriculum. We also want to continue to deliver training to NextGen ministry practitioners through our annual conference, one-day training events, and webinars.
3. 3.Develop a scope and sequence of benchmarks for biblical literacy, theology, Christian practice, and Christian life that can be used to develop nursery, children’s ministry, and youth ministry curriculum that links to this scope and sequence.
