Vision

To empower and educate youth and veterans to fill the shortage of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) professionals in many of California's booming industries in the STEM fields. Non-destructive testing is a method of testing the structural integrity of a material without causing damage to the original item being tested. NDT Testing is used in the industries of aerospace, oil and energy production, civil engineering, transportation, etc - and is integral to ensuring public safety and well-being.

Goals

1. 1.We provide a 10-week course in the field of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Testing. Our students receive Level I and Level II training in Radiography, Magnetic Particle, Penetrant, Ultrasonic Testing, UT Phased Array, and Visual Testing, as well as Computed Radiography and Radiation Safety with a foundation in NDT Math.
2. 2.We would like to expand upon the capacity of our organization. Upon completion of their 10-week course in NDT our students became apprentices to NDT Industry leaders. We would like to invest in additional testing supplies in the areas of Ultrasonic Testing and Magnetic Particle testing. Additionally, we would like to upgrade the laptops used by our NDT Instructors and students.
3. 3.We currently serve multiple locations within the Greater Los Angeles area and have partnerships with various Workforce Training Centers. We would like to expand our recruitment efforts to reach students from demographics that historically have been underrepresented in the STEM/NDT industries: this includes veterans, women, and individuals from BIPOC communities.
