unCommon Construction (uCC) uses the build process to empower youth with the skills, network, experience, and resources to lead the workforce.

Vision

Our VISION is a world in which youth have a clear path to a meaningful and rewarding work life. We believe that youth gain power by developing diverse relationships and skills, and that having access to financial resources has a compounding positive impact on their future success.

Goals

1.More sophisticated training modules for our apprentices through a progressive, scalable 3-Tiered learning model that will deepen their experiences and better prepare them for future success.
2.The development of new programming for industry-specific training, career development workshops, community building events, and networking opportunities.
3.Expanded workshop offerings for schools and a Mobile Creative Carpentry Classroom to expose an additional 100 younger students to the construction trades each year.
