A future where toxic contamination is remedied, public health is protected, and every child can grow, learn, and play safely in their own backyard.

Goals

1. 1.Scale community health literacy and engagement—more outreach, trainings, Toxic Tuesdays/webinars, and fish consumption advisory education—so more residents can understand risks, build local leadership, and participate in decisions that affect their neighborhoods.
2. 2.Invest in organizational capacity to sustain and grow impact: strengthen staff support, fundraising, and internal systems for data translation, coalition coordination, and the CHEJ-to-THEA transition so communities receive timely, consistent, high-quality assistance.
3. 3.Advance strong, resident-driven action for cleanup and prevention—holding agencies and responsible parties accountable at priority sites (e.g., San Jacinto River and Jones Road), elevating community voice in regulatory processes, and securing clear timelines and action.
