Goals

1.Family Promise of Lehigh Valley intends to expand its capacity to serve families with children in its Short-term Shelter program from the current 14 individuals at any point-in-time to 28. This will require a larger day center and the capital improvements needed to renovate a new facility. It also intends to increase its staff by at least 1 person to handle the increased activity level.
2.Family Promise of Lehigh Valley intends to increase its advocacy work to ensure the Lehigh Valley community is aware of the homeless problem existent here and the effective means available to address the issue. The Executive Director is a commissioner on the Allentown Homeless Commission and attends meetings of the Lehigh Valley Regional Homeless Advisory Board.
