Vision

Amethyst Center for Healing seeks: To provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to those seeking help in recovery from trauma, abuse, and mental health conditions. To empower individuals and families in the community to work towards living lives free from violence. To promote healthy healing from trauma. To develop, evaluate, and disseminate effective prevention, assessment, and treatment methods. To create programming that addresses multiple levels of risk to domestic violence recidivism. To collaborate with local, state, and national entities with similar missions of reducing the destructive effects of violence on our community. To solicit and receive contributions, purchase, own, and sell real and personal property, to make contracts, to invest corporate funds, to spend corporate funds for purposes, and to engage in any activity “in furtherance of, incidental to, or connected with any of the other purposes.”

Goals

1. 1.Provide affordable high-quality services to our clients regardless of age, race, creed, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or socioeconomic status.
2. 2.To create a multi-level domestic violence offender treatment program to address the complex levels of risk and need of the clientele to be served.
3. 3.To support the services we provide with adequate administration and management policies to foster the growth of the agency and ensure these programs' survivability.
