We want a world where no one is blind from avoidable causes and where people with visual impairments and other disabilities participate equally in society.

1.To advance health, with particular emphasis on preventing and/or curing blindness.
2.To advance the education of people with disabilities, with a particular emphasis on blind people.
3.To prevent or relieve poverty among people with disabilities, with a particular emphasis on blind people.
