The nonprofit organization presents evidence of strategic thinking and goal setting through sharing their most important strategic goals.
Goal One: Refine, implement, and assess providing water to every community by 2030 through Water Provision, and Maintenance & Sustainability. We do the water systems - from siting, drilling, pump testing, water quality testing, system design, construction, and dedication. We have a 93% functionality rate. Training local pump repair and provincial engineers on repairing solar-submersible systems.
Goal Two: Cultivate community ownership through active collaboration in planning and ownership of all water systems. Engage from the beginning on water systems, site selection, donated land, and labor. Water Committee established responsible for system. Water is considered a human right in Burundi. We advocate the government to change to payment for water services.
Goal Three: Cultivate, grow, and retain partners and donors in order to resource the completion of water in every community by 2030.
We have actively partnered with other organizations to achieve this goal.
