Apostolate of Our Lady of Hope

Mission

The Apostolate of Our Lady of Hope (St. Rafka Mission of Hope and Mercy) is a Catholic Apostolate inspired by the Syriac Maronite Church of Antioch, whose heritage reflects a longstanding commitment to religious freedom, peace, stability, and coexistence while serving as a bridge between East and West. We provide humanitarian, medical, educational, and spiritual support to Christians in Lebanon and extend assistance throughout the greater Middle East as circumstances and resources permit. During times of war, economic crisis, or major humanitarian disasters, we also assist refugees, internally displaced persons, and other vulnerable communities. Through partnerships with local churches and organizations, we seek to relieve suffering, strengthen communities, defend religious freedom, uphold human dignity, encourage peaceful coexistence, and help families remain in or safely return to their homes.

Vision

We envision resilient communities throughout Lebanon and the greater Middle East where every person lives with dignity, is free to practice their faith, and has reliable access to food, healthcare, education, and the support needed to withstand and recover from war, displacement, and economic hardship. We envision strong local churches, nonprofits, and community organizations equipped to meet these needs, foster lasting hope, and resilience, and promote peaceful coexistence.
