Mission

THE MISSION OF THE SUMMIT VALLEY HORSE CENTER IS TO PROVIDE REHABILITATION TO RESCUED HORSES, SO THAT THEY ARE MORE LIKELY TO BE ADOPTED INTO LOVING HOMES. WE ALSO ASPIRE TO ENRICH THE LIVES OF OUR COMMUNITY OF VOLUNTEERS AND VISITORS TO SUMMIT COUNTY BY

Goals

1.Increase numbers of and capacity of classes thru additional full time staff members and further training of key volunteers. Increase awareness of programs in the local community thru constant outreach to partner non profits and school districts.
2.Improve IT capacity, automate practices where possible to free up volunteer time. Increase sale at our Thrift store to increase financial reach.
3.Offer one on one training for horse owners and potential owners
