914Cares is committed to ensuring that every family in Westchester has access to the basic essentials they need to live each day with confidence and dignity.

Goals

1. 1.914Cares has seen an increase in need for our services over the past couple of years. As such, we are focused on perfecting our approach to our core programs, and securing stable funding to ensure their longevity. Our network of community partners allows us to make reliable connections when an organization makes requests that do not fall within our service area—an extension of our mission.
2. 2.With a new Interim CEO in place, 2025 represents an era of assessment of our finances, work flow, and organizational structure. We have formed committees within our Board of Directors, and when necessary, used outside consultants to ensure that we are well-positioned for stability and continued growth.
3. 3.In 2024, 914Cares established a Government Relations department to further our commitment to effecting change for those struggling to afford access to basic essentials. As established members of the National Diaper Bank Network and Alliance for Period Supplies, we now partake in regular meetings with our elected officials at both the federal and state level.
