HMI is a nonprofit organization that promotes community building in order to support refugee populations. We aim to be resourceful and effective in transforming refugees’ lives, changing public attitudes for the better, and connecting diverse populations within the same community.

To create a world where refugees are embraced, empowered, and integrated into inclusive communities,

Goals

1.Connect target groups to the resources they need to improve their lives in the new community
2.Educate target groups in terms of ESL skills, Primary Education, and integration into U.S. society to move towards a self-sufficient mode of life
3.Lead local and national campaigns to increase public awareness around refugees, resettlement, and legislation
