The Foundation exists to help ensure that animal welfare organizations that care for the needs of homeless, neglected, and disadvantaged pets maximize their lifesaving potential.

Vision

Northeast Kansas Animal Welfare Foundation will accomplish its mission by helping animal welfare organizations maximize their lifesaving potential to end the pet overpopulation crisis. We will do this by partnering with donors to respond to the needs of shelters, rescues, and other companion pet animal nonprofits and issues.

Goals

1.Expand Statewide: We're committed to expanding because the investments we make are making an impact and we believe that we can alleviate the burdens of the pet overpopulation crisis statewide.
2.Advocacy: We are committed to using our platform and leveraging our community to ensure companion pet animals have a voice in local, regional, and statewide policy making.
