Vision

United Way of Delaware envisions a community where everyone has an opportunity to achieve their potential regardless of zip code.

Goals

1. 1.Expand access to literacy support programs that increase reading proficiency and prepare youth for future success. Through summer and out-of-school time programs, we serve thousands of Delaware students and families, with a focus on minimizing learning loss outside of the classroom.
2. 2.Strengthen organizational capacity by leveraging technology and AI to expand access to programs and enhance engagement. We will refine messaging, strengthen our digital presence, and integrate partners into collective storytelling to build brand loyalty. Success will be measured by a 10% increase in Net Promoter Score and improved personalized experiences for investors, partners, and volunteers.
3. 3.Expand access to financial empowerment services through the Stand By Me 1:1 coaching model and workshops, helping Delawareans build budgeting, credit, debt reduction, and savings skills. We aim to serve 7,000+ clients annually, increase mortgage-ready clients to 15%, and help 28% achieve at least one savings goal.
