Vision

OUR VISION FOR CITY MISSION IS TO BE THE PLACE WHERE LIFE RECOVERY HAPPENS. TO HAVE THE PROGRAMS, OPPORTUNITIES, AND COMPANSSION TO ISPIRE CHANGE AND COMMITTMENT IN OUR GUESTS.

Goals

1. 1.City Mission has identified the need for additional crisis and emergency care for women with children. In 2025 we opened Martha's Home, a women with children's emergency crisis center. We offer immediate crisis shelter, full case management through our advocate services, referral and support services.
2. 2.The City of Findlay has identified a need for a Low Barrier Shelter. This would be a safe place for persons at any level of their journey to engage in services. First would be a safe overnight shelter, then agencies would engage the population by offering services. We secured funding the Fall of 2024 and opened a fully operational 365 day a year low barrier shelter in January of 2025.
3. 3.Food insecurity has become a major concern among low income households. City Mission is expanding our food service to include 2 hot meals a day, by creating a "walk-up window". Our food service to the community will have increased by nearly 500% in the last 5 years. Our current focus is on supplying needed food to small pantries and services in out lying communities.
