Mission

THE LEWIS AND CLARK TRAIL HERITAGE FOUNDATION PROVIDES NATIONAL LEADERSHIP IN MAINTAINING THE INTEGRITY OF THE TRAIL AND ITS STORY THROUGH STEWARDSHIP, SCHOLARSHIP, EDUCATION, PARTNERSHIP AND CULTURAL INCLUSIVENESS.

Vision

To be the Nation's premier non profit organization for the preservation of the Lewis and Clark Trail and the sharing of its stories.

Goals

1.Promote interpretation, education, and outreach of the stories surrounding the Lewis and Clark Expedition of the Corps of Discovery
2.Ensure the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail is s preserved through stewardship, recreational use, and interagency partnerships.
3.Implement the Lewis and Clark Travel Experience (LCTE) website and resources are developed, promoted, and brought to the awareness of the public.
