Mission

The St. Louis Park Emergency Program (STEP) mission is to respond to our neighbors in need by providing access to vital services that foster stability. We are the St. Louis Park community food shelf and social service agency. We directly provide food, clothing, emergency rent assistance, and other direct assistance, as well as advocacy, referrals, and case management. STEP volunteers and professional staff have been empowering lives and restoring hope since 1975. Our vision is to be a pillar of our community for connecting residents with resources to fulfill their basic needs.
