Vision

Our vision is to give every person an opportunity to have a voice in identifying and addressing their needs; and to provide social connections, to fully develop their sense of self and community.

Goals

1. 1.To expand support/services for children and youth who have experienced or are at risk for sex trafficking, particularly for those who are under court protection. This includes screening for trafficking risk, providing services that strengthen protective factors, and ensuring each child is connected to the individualized supports they need to find safety, healing, and long-term stability.
2. 2.Invest in capacity by seeking funding through the Columbia County budget to sustain our CASA program. CASA provides vital, court-ordered advocacy and support for children. Public investment is critical for the program's impact and stability. County support would also recognize the value and necessity of this service for children in the child welfare system.
3. 3.Strengthen advocacy through our roles on the Governor’s Juvenile Justice Commission, AG’s Child in Need Task Force, and Wisconsin Association of Family and Children’s Agencies. Ensure children harmed by familial abuse or sexual exploitation, including juvenile sex trafficking, benefit from trauma-informed investigations, equitable services, and pathways to safety and wellbeing.
