Vision

Our vision for every man, woman, and child is to instill hope for the future. For each person we help, we desire them to have a life filled with hope through the life-changing message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They can overcome negative habits to live a full and productive life as a caring member of society. Our future vision is for expanded programs and services to include a shelter for women, a long-term program for women, a day program for transients (homeless), expanding Camp Wild to have electricity, plumbing, and buildings at the campsite, and a new facility outside of Hagerstown for our 13-month program for men.

Goals

1. 1.Strategic goal 1- The Hope Center at Hagerstown Rescue Mission will be Hagerstown's best-in-class men's shelter for emergency shelter services and life recovery programs.
2. 2.The Hope Center will lessen food insecurity by providing free meals to men, women, and children experiencing hunger and giving groceries to families experiencing food insecurity.
3. 3.Strategic goal 3- The Hope Center at Hagerstown Rescue Mission will expand our Camp Wild (summer day camp) facilities to best serve and meet the needs of Hagerstown's inner city children and youth.
