    Mission

    Incorporated in 1981, the Fuel Fund of Maryland aims to be a lifeline for our vulnerable Maryland neighbors struggling with a home utility hardship. We assist by providing navigation through an array of financial and community resources that empower, engage, and safely connect a household in times of crisis. In FY 2022, we assisted 4,134 households with a utility hardship; 1,734 of those households were seniors (60+) via our newly created program: Silver Lights.
