Mission

Founded in 1981, Human Life International (HLI) is the largest international pro-life organization in the world. Human Life International's mission is to defend the God-given right to life and dignity of all human persons from conception until natural death. In fulfilling this mission we strive to train, organize and equip pro-life leaders around the world. While we are completely faithful to the Holy Father and the Magisterium, we are also ecumenical and work with people of all faiths to advance the cause of life. We have worked in more than 80 countries around the world.<br><br>

Goals

1.HLI has programs in 30 African countries. We plan to expand that to 54 countries (all of sub-Saharan) by 2025.
2.Currently, the 5 Regional Directors work with the Country Affiliates (100). Goal is to add 14 Regional Coordinates to assist the RDs.
3.Launch a Fellowship Program - a priest will work at HLI for two years while he completes a license in bioethics. At the end of the two years, the priest will return to his diocese or religious order.
