    Paul's Place, Inc.

    Mission

    Paul's Place's mission is to improve the quality of life in Southwest Baltimore. Paul's Place provides programs, services, and supports that strengthen individuals, families, and neighborhoods by fostering hope, personal dignity, and growth. Since 1982, Paul’s Place’s has been assisting under-resourced neighbors in Southwest Baltimore. Programs have expanded over the past 43 years from our origins as a soup kitchen to now offering 20 essential, comprehensive programs and services that enable guests to address the substantial barriers to a self-reliant life. To meet their range of basic needs, we provide over 800 meals through our food programs every week; a free clothing bank, showers, and laundry service; health and wellness programs, including a health clinic and peer recovery assistance; case management services; a culinary training workforce development program; and programs for academic support and enrichment of children. Over the last several years, we have experienced significant growth, from serving 1,500 unique individuals annually to now more than 3,000.
