Goals

1. 1.Empower clients and communities through holistic victim advocacy: 1-To grow the MCVRC commitment to providing services and programing that foster victim healing and community; 2-Increase social media engagement; 3-To provide access to and fight for greater victim’s support services, resources, and funding in the state of Maryland by creating one new additional strategic partner annually.
2. 2.Challenge the systems perpetuating inequity for victims in the defendant-focused criminal justice system: 1-Improve Maryland’s criminal justice system; 2-Improve the Maryland’s legislature education; 3-Continue to build upon MCVRC's reputation as an organization committed to active legislative influence and boosting MCVRC presence; 4-Use technology to analyze statical data regarding victims.
3. 3.Create a respectful, diverse, high-performing staff that is collaborative and mission-focused: 1-Foster an environment where passionate staff recognizes the direct impact of their work and advocacy; 2-Attract, train, and retain highly effective team members; 3-Build the team by providing quarterly all team get togethers; 4-Conduct annual analysis of staffing needs.
