Mission

Since 1983, Shepherd’s Table has been a trusted and essential resource for people experiencing hunger, housing instability, and other challenges in Montgomery County. Located in Silver Spring, Maryland, we work to improve quality of life, create a pathway toward lasting well-being, and inspire hope for our community’s most vulnerable neighbors. Shepherd’s Table provides a comprehensive network of services designed to meet people where they are and address both immediate needs and the barriers that can stand in the way of long-term stability. Our programs include Daily Meals, a Resource Center, an Eye Clinic, a Clothing Closet, and workforce development through our Culinary Skills Training Program.
