EarthShare has significantly invested in its leadership team, which recently expanded to include more diverse leadership. This leadership development occurred through staff promotions, expanded staff responsibilities, and more staff resources such as a stipend for professional development and professional subscriptions. EarthShare also successfully launched a staff-led Culture Committee to support employees and to help implement justice, equity and diversity throughout programs.

EarthShare works with hundreds of public and private workplaces, from federal, state, and local governments and business. We provide access to workplace campaigns and their donors quickly with minimal effort or upfront investment. To further our impact, EarthShare has also launched a suite of bold new tools and initiatives to take environmental action to the next level. While we are enormously proud of our fundraising history with workplace giving campaigns (a service we continue to provide our Nonprofit Partners), we also recognize a need for greater community access—a better way to bring supporters and changemakers together to accelerate the transformation our world so desperately needs. To scale environmental giving, EarthShare successfully launched the first environmentally-focused Giving Platform of its kind – available to businesses, employees, and individual consumers. We now offer innovative services so anyone, regardless of experience or prior knowledge, can get involved.

As a result of our new strategic plan and ambition to drive additional environmental giving, we've evolved our team significantly and hired new staff, created new programs, and improved our impact for Nonprofit Partners. We believe we’ve been successful in managing significant change through an inclusive and participatory strategic planning processes, team meetings, staff surveys and engagement, and the launch and ongoing support of a staff-led Culture Committee to champion a variety of new programs and initiatives.
EarthShare has also successfully managed significant technological change, which includes the development of a new Giving and Engagement Platform as well as improving operational and donation processing efficiencies while simultaneously responding in real-time to donors' shifting needs and preferences. During the pandemic our Nonprofit Partners called for more general operating support, and in response to environmental groups on the ground and donors, we launched our Giving Platform. We continue to adjust our strategy as we mobilize donors to move more resources to the environmental frontlines.
