Mission

Nonpartisan media-based outreach and educational nonprofit charity committed to aiding the public, journalists, and policymakers in improving the lives of our global community by challenging misinformation on a range of issues — public health, food security, biotechnology, synthetic biology, artificial intelligence, vaccines and climate change — and promoting science literacy.

Goals

1.Address food insecurity, especially in the developing world. The SLP/GLP believes there are numerous tools that could improve sustainable production.
2.Engagement with well-meaning critics of differing ideologies. We are increasing our commitment to analytical responses to those who question the efficacy or social impact of different technologies.
3.We want to expand our base of financial support to ensure our long-term operating future while also ensuring that we reach out to communities who have not benefited from genetics-related innovations.
