The nonprofit organization presents evidence of strategic thinking and goal setting through sharing their most important strategic goals.
Goal One: WLP provides leadership training, skills building, and mentorship to women and youth across 60 countries in the Global South, equipping them to engage in decision-making that affects their daily lives. Amid global backlash and rights erosion, WLP’s networks and collective advocacy provide proven strategies and systems of support to build better futures where women’s full human rights are realized.
Goal Two: In response to the climate crisis, the Partnership is launching new programs on women’s crisis resiliency to address specific ways that women are impacted, including combating gender-based violence and child trafficking, ensuring food security, and supporting women’s livelihoods. Our work includes leadership and resiliency workshops for women, and capacity building for humanitarian organizations.
Goal Three: WLP advocates for women’s rights at the local and international levels on issues such as ending gender-based violence, reforming discriminatory laws, and promoting climate justice. Our advocacy seeks to raise awareness about women’s human rights issues, influence policy makers and public opinion, and increase the visibility and impact of our work on gender equality.
