THE CONTINUUM OF CARE CONSISTS OF TRANSITION HOUSING, FULFILLING DESIRED EDUCATION, NETWORKING FOR EMPLOYEMNT, AND RESOLVE POST TRAUMATIC STRESS. THE BAF IS ON A MISSION TO SAVE LIVES. WITH 22 VETERANS TAKING THEIR LIFE EACH DAY BY SUICIDE, MORE THAN 8,000 PER YEAR, THE BAF IS FOCUSED ON RAISING AWARENESS AROUND THE NATION AND IN RAISING AWARENESS FUNDING THE CONTINUUM OF CARE.

THE VETERAN SUICIDE RATE IS A NATIONAL CRISIS. THE BAF BOARD IS ON A MISSION TO ERADIATE VETERAN SUICIDE. THIS REQUIRES MENTORSHIP DURING TRANSITIONS AND ENSURING THE VETERANS HAVE A SENSE OF HOPE AND PURPOSE IN THEIR LIVES.

IN 2021 THE ACCOUNTING TEAM COMPLETED OUTSIDE AUDIT OF FININCIALS WITH POSITIVE/FAVORABLE RESULTS. FUTURE BOARD MEMBERS ARE INVITED TO EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR TO LEARN THE BAF "PROCESS" AND TO DETERMINE IF THEY ARE AN EXCELLENT FIT FOR BOARD NOMINATION/APPROVAL.

SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS ALSO INCLUDE ROTAARY AND PATRIOTIC BUSINESS LEADERS LUNCHEONS AND DINNERS IN SAN FRANCISCO, HOUSTON, CHARLOTTE, PENSACOLA, PALM DESERT, ANNAPOLIS AND SAN DIEGO. COMMUNITY BUILDING. IN EACH OF THE CITIES NAMED ABOVE COMMUNITY BUILDING AND RAISING AWARENESS OF OUR MISSION AND THE NEED FOR SUPPORT IS ONGOING. PARTICIPATION IN NETWORKS. BOARD MEMBERS, SPONSORS, DONORS ALL PROVIDE UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY FOR BROADENING NETWORKS AND ENHANCING PARTICIPATION. MARKETING/SOCIAL MEDIA. BAF HAS MARKETING/SOCIAL MEDIA TEAM THAT UTULIZES ALL FORUMS TO BUILD BAF BRAND AND RAISE AWARENESS OF OUR MISSION AND THE SUCCESSES WE ARE HAVING. BAF WILL EMBARK ON NEW INITIATIVE LATE 2021 AND INTO 2020 TO WORK WITH STATE GOVERNEMNTS IN RAISING AWARENESS AND APPLYING FOR APPROPRIATIONS TO FUND OBJECTIVES.

IN BOTH 2020 AND 2021 THE BAF CANCELLED ALL EVENTS AS A RESULT OF COVID. THE BAF WAS FORTUNATE DURING THIS TIME TO HAVE LOTAL SUPPORTERS WHO CONTNUED DONATIONS. SECOND, THE BOARD ELECTED TO HOST A VETERAN'S DAY VIRTUAL SALUTE TO THE WOUNDED WARRIOR COMMUNITY. THIS WAS AN INCREDIBLY SUCCESSFUL EVENT. THIRD, IN 2021 THE BAF ADDED A KEY STRATEGIC PARTNER THAT PROVIDED SUBSTANTIAL FUNDING TOWARD MSSION GOALS. FOURTH, THE BAF HAS ALIGNED WITH A SIGNIFICANT ASSOCIATION THAT EXCEEDS 10,000 MEMBERS. THIS ASSOCIATION HS BECOME A SUBSTANTIAL PARTNER IN YEAR ONE, AND THE RELATIONSHIP WILL CONTINUE TO GROW IN THE COMING YEARS. FINALLY, THE BOARD IS ALL VOLUNTEER, THUS THEIR IS NOMINAL OVERHEAD. AS A RESULT OF ALL MENTIONED, THE BAF BOARD WAS ABLE TO MEET ALL FINANCIAL OBJECTIVES AND IS IN AN EXCELLENT FINANCIAL POSTION FOR 2022.
