Working with local communities to restore the critical ecosystem of Brazil's Atlantic Forest, with thriving populations in a flourishing and sustainable landscape.

Goals

1. 1.Our goal is to restore this highly threatened ecosystem through strategic reforestation: creating corridors linking restored areas with old growth forest, strengthening climate resilience, and protecting biodiversity in Brazil's Atlantic Forest. This goal is supported by research, education and income-generating opportunities, to increase impact and ensure long-term sustainability.
2. 2.Our goal of forest restoration, monitoring and maintenance ensures that we remain mission-focused, while our education programs, which serve public school children and youth, are directed at raising awareness and promoting advocacy in defense of the forest. Experience has tuahgt us to resist the temptation to invest time and resources in programs not directly related to our mission and skillset!
3. 3.Our people are our most precious resource, and we continue to invest time, energy and resources in strengthening capacity in organizational and financial management, incorporating new technology, diversifying income streams, and creating new partnerships with the public and private sectors. We work closely with stakeholders, valuing feedback and pursuing a policy of continuous improvement.
