CIA Officers Memorial Foundation

Mission

Since its founding in 1947, the men and women of the Central Intelligence Agency have served America in peace and war around the world to confront those who would do harm to our country and to alert the President and our national leaders to dangers and opportunities abroad. The Foundation was established in December 2001 to provide educational support to the children of CIA officers killed in the line of duty. In May 2006, the Foundation's Board of Directors voted to expand its mission to include providing educational support to the spouses of CIA officers killed in the line of duty, and the children and spouses of officers who die on active duty as a result of accident, illness or other causes.

The Foundation’s goal is to provide every eligible student educational support to ensure they reach their full potential.

Goals

1.The Foundation will refine methods to reach eligible program beneficiaries to ensure we are able to contact them and ensure they are aware of the benefits for which they are eligible. Communications will continue to be refined to maximize awareness, including, but not limited to, direct outreach and periodic newsletters to program beneficiaries using newly developed Salesforce capabilities.
2.The Foundation staff will continue to refine their skills using the newly implemented Salesforce platform to maximize both program and donor reporting and relationships. The Finance department also continues to modernize operations in order to maximize efficiency.
3.The Foundation will continue to develop key relationships within the Agency to ensure its mission is widely known to all officers, both in name and in purpose.
