    Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington, D.C. was founded on the visionary idea that access to sexual and reproductive health care could transform people's lives. For more than 80 years, PPMW has provided high quality, supportive reproductive medical care for families in the DC metro area. <br><br>PPMW's mission is to provide high-quality reproductive health services, to promote healthy sexuality and responsible decision making, and to protect the right to make those decisions. PPMW provides comprehensive reproductive health care services at three health centers, located in NE Washington DC, and Maryland (Silver Spring and Gaithersburg). NEW - As of 2019, PPMW offers telehealth services and gender affirming (hormone) care (all three centers, and primary care (DC only).
