Mission

Founded in 1938, ChildFund International partners with nearly 150 local organizations and others to connect vulnerable children worldwide with the people, resources and institutions they need to grow up healthy, educated, skilled and safe. Local by design, we partner at the local, national and global levels to deliver impact at scale – strengthening systems, expanding opportunity and driving lasting, community-owned change. Children and youth are at the center as change makers, driving accountability and innovation. We emphasize child protection because violence, exploitation, abuse and neglect can reverse developmental gains in an instant. Last year, we reached 35.3 million children and family members in 23 countries. Our vision: a world where every child realizes their rights and achieves their potential.
