The nonprofit organization presents evidence of strategic thinking and goal setting through sharing their most important strategic goals.
Goal One: Collections-Based Strategy. We are dedicated to growing our capacity to preserve our vast, invaluable Collections and utilizing those objects to accomplish our mission.
Goal Type: Invest in the capacity of our organization (financial, management, technical, etc.).
Goal Two: We work to ensure that every initiative is community-focused by increasing access to our Collections and programs, lowering financial barriers, and investing in virtual offerings and outreach.
Goal Type: Grow, expand, scale or increase access to the existing programs and services.
Goal Three: Through implementing lean principles, we aim to refocus and align all work at the Museum with our Collections-Based, Community-Focused strategy and make nimble adjustments to serve-first.
Goal Type: New program(s) based on observed changes in needs among our constituencies/communities served.
