VTF EXISTS AND OPERATES AS A SEPARATE, INDEPENDENT ENTITY WITH ITS OFFICERS AND GOVERNING BOARD-MANAGING, INVESTING, AND DISTRIBUTING PRIVATE RESOURCES TO ADVANCE VIRGINIA TECH'S MISSION AND ITS STRATEGIC PROPRIETIES.
